Solicitor General Tushar Mehta, representing Centre, has informed the Supreme Court that a meeting took place between govt and FIFA in order to facilitate holding of U-17 Women’s World Cup and lift suspension on the All India Footbal Federation (AIFF). The mattter is still under discussions ongoing and it will be taken up on Monday.

SG Tushar Mehta has informed the Court that talks between FIFA and govt are constructive and there’s breaking of ice. Government to request FIFA/AFC to allow Gokulam Kerala participate in the AFC Women’s Championship and ATK Mohun Bagan in AFC Cup.
