Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe! On social media, Gautam Gambhir has been at loggerheads with Pakistani politicians and players over Kashmir issue.
International Cricket has returned to Pakistan after a decade-long hiatus as Sri Lanka team agreed to play in Karachi. The Pakistan cricket board had promised foolproof security to the visitors and now the Sri Lanka team is under Presidential-level security for the three-match ODI and three-match T20I series.
Over 20 vehicles were deployed for the Sri Lankan team as they were heading to the National Stadium in Karachi for the second ODI on Monday. In a purported video from Pakistan which has gone viral, two men are being heard mocking at the security cover for the team bus.
They are heard calling it a “curfew-like” situation as the security vehicles are seen moving while traffic movement on the other side of the road is at a halt.
The video has now been shared by former Indian cricketer and current MP Gautam Gambhir who has criticised Pakistani leaders and players for commenting on Kashmir issue.

The Sri Lankan team is in the southern port city of Karachi for three one-day internationals. Those will be followed by three Twenty20s in Lahore the city where the Sri Lanka team bus was attacked by terrorists in 2009. Major teams have avoided Pakistan since that ambush, which killed eight people and injured quite a few players.
