Virat Kohli took to face book and posted an emotional message to fans after India suffered a loss by an innings and 159 runs to England in the second Test at Lord’s.
“Sometimes we win and other times we learn. You never give up on us and we promise to never give up on you either. Onwards and upwards,” Kohli’s post read.
India are 0-2 down in the five-match series and face an almighty task getting back in the series.

Speaking after the match Virat Kohli said, “Yeah looking back, I thought we got the combination wrong. Not proud of the way we’ve played. First time in the last five Tests that we’ve been outplayed. We deserved to lose this game, the way we went about things.”
Kohli suffered from back strains in the Lord’s Test and only contributed 23 & 17 in the match. The Delhi batsman also dropped to number 2 in ICC rankings having gained the number one spot after his magnificent performance in Edgbaston test.
