Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!At least 15 Maoists were killed and two were arrested in an encounter with security forces near Sukma’s Konta and Golapalli police station limits in Chhattisgarh on Monday. Confirming the deaths, Awasthi, Anti-Naxal Operations Special DG DM said the operation took place in a forest area, 500 km from Raipur, on Sunday night and the bodies were recovered today early morning.
Awasthi added that one more operation is underway in the interior area of Sukma. Several firearms were also seized from the spot. Konta region of Chattisgarh is the southern-most part of the state.
A search operation is still underway.
