BSNL has officialy brought the Eid 2018 festivities to its customers with the launch of its Rs 786 plan for prepaid users. The Eid special offer comes with a validity of 150 days. Under its Rs 786 plan, BSNL is offering 2GB data per day to its GSM prepaid customers.

It is also to be noted that BSNL Rs 786 plan can be vailed within 15-days promotional period from June 12 to June 26.
Overall, the promotional offer is providing 300GB data and 15000 SMSes. However, it should be kept in mind that BSNL at present only provides 2G and 3G network service. BSNL’s Rs 786 offer is valid across India.
Meanwhile, the battle between Airtel and Jio has reached an all-new high with the Reliance-owned company introducing a new set of tariff plans for June.
For starters the company has Rs 100 off on the Rs 399 plan with a double data (3GB/day) benefit for the month of June.
Airtel had introduced 1GB/day additional data on Rs 149 and Rs 399 packages for limited users. Jio on the other hand have lifted off Airtel, but given the discount to all its users.
“Jio also offers a Rs 100 discount on all recharges of Rs 300 and above and 20% on recharges below the Rs 300 price point, if the user recharges through the MyJio app and pays using PhonePe wallet..” the company said in a press release.
These are the new ratesa. 1.5GB/day data pack users – Rs 149, 349, 399, 449 will now get 3GB/dayb. 2GB/day data pack users – Rs 198, 398, 448, 498 will now get 3.5GB/dayc. 3GB/day data pack users – Rs 299 will now get 4.5GB/dayd. 4GB/day data pack users – Rs 509 will now get 5.5GB/daye. 5GB/day data pack users – Rs 799 will now get 6.5GB/day
Interestingly, Airtel introduced its scheme in response to Jio’s plan which offers 1.5 GB 4G per day for Rs 149 with a validity of 28 days. By offering 0.5 GB extra, Airtel is looking to stay alive in the intense data war which has been unleashed ever since Reliance Jio entered the market. Jio with its aggressive price points managed to bring the prices down, forcing others to adjust their rates.
